Welcome to Renee' Martin's State Farm Agency! We proudly serve our local area of Arkansas -- Independence, Izard, Sharp, Lawrence and White counties. However, we offer car, home, life and health insurance policies to the entire state of Arkansas.

We have a team of 5 licensed agents with a combined 98 years of insurance experience.

Some facts about me: I am originally from West Monroe, Louisiana where I was employed by State Farm Insurance for 20 years as a Commercial Fire Underwriter. I relocated to Batesville, Arkansas in 1995 to open my own agency in what turned out to be the most compassionate and caring community that I could ever imagine.

During my time in Batesville, I have served on several boards and committees, including the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce, Independence County Economic Development Inc, Vital Link Ambulance, and Kiwanis Club of Batesville. I have also held several important positions, including being elected as the first woman President of the Batesville Kiwanis Club, and I still currently serve as Secretary for the State Farm PAC.

My family and I attend church here in Batesville where we are active members who love to serve our community.

Halie has been with our agency since 2015 and has served as our office manager since 2019. Halie and her husband are originally from Calico Rock, AR but moved to Batesville in 2012. Halie plays an integral role in our office by making sure that everything is running smoothly and getting taken care of properly. She is not only dedicated to serving our customers and making sure they are well taken care of whenever the unexpected happens, but she also enjoys building genuine withstanding relationships with them as well.

Destiny is a Batesville native and started with our agency as a summer intern in 2019 after she graduated from high school and has been with our office ever since. She is a Lyon College graduate with a degree in Business Administration: Management, Finance, & Accounting and Economics. She is licensed and is so excited to dive deeper into the world of insurance! Destiny has a passion for social media and loves creating fun, entertaining posts to promote the hard work of our office and to build relationships with our customers.

Lesley started with our office in February of this year. She is originally from Maumelle, AR but has since made Batesville her home. She has such a fun sense of humor and is always cracking jokes around the office. Lesley thinks it is important to have your assets insured with an agent that goes above and beyond to resolve issues and fulfill requests with care, and that is exactly what she strives to do for our customers as well.

Dennis Martin

Dennis is Renee's husband and has been with our agency since 2016. He retired from the school system after having a long career as a coach, teacher, principal, and superintendent. This is a second career for Dennis, and he loves having the ability to help our customers by taking the weight of their insurance needs off of their shoulders.

Fun facts about Dennis: Dennis loves creating beautiful furniture out in his shop as a hobby, spending time with all of his grand kids, and he always has a new joke of the day!
